Children's Plant-A-Pot

At The Chocolate Box, Station Road, Ainsdale. Open to all children 2 - 11years. Bring a plant pot no larger than 25cm diameter. We'll provide the plants & compost. Suggested donation of £2.50 per pot. Plants on Sale. Plant Pots Available.

Pet Show

Pet Show

The Pet Show will take place on the the Village Green. Pets to be shown by children. Judging starts at 6.30pm. You can bring pets from 6pm. £1 entry - prizes in 4 classes. Cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs & other small animals.

101st Ainsdale Summer Show

Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th July 2026

104th Ainsdale Summer Show

We will have all the favourite attractions including the arena attractions, a large fairground, craft fair, trade, charity stalls a bar and catering units. The horticultural and children's exhibits will be shown in the usual marquees this year but entry to the village green will be incur a charge. £5 per adult for a day ticket. Children enter free. Advance tickets are £4 from Schools, The Chocolate Box, Ainsdale Garden % Home D.I.Y. & Lions Charity Shop. We hope families will come to enjoy all the show has to offer.

Ainsdale Horticultural society is an active and thriving society.   Its centrepiece event is the Summer show held annually on the Village Green.  This event showcases local talent and produce in a spirit of friendly competition.   However, competitive classes are open to all and visitors from beyond the local area are invited to come and compete  or simply have a great traditional family day out.
